Why do People uses Quora?

To be completely honest, I started writing on Quora to work on my writing skills in English.

I have been a silent reader for years since the beginning of Quora. I love this platform. But for a long time, I did not dare to write anything.

Then, a few months ago, I decided: "Fuck it, there are so many people on Quora, they will not even notice my weird broken English, but at least I'll get some experience".

For a month it was like this. No one really read my answers. Then the Quora magic happened. Some of my answers got thousands of reviews and thousands of people started following me. Every day I open my profile, see the increased numbers, and wonder, "Is this true?" The love and appreciation feel surreal.

My English, however, needs a lot of improvement. The fact that if I make a mistake and thousands of people will see it, sometimes makes me want to die.
