One of these new features was introduced by Google some time ago and it is called Google Web Stories. Friends, as the name suggests, this feature helps you create and share Web Stories. Web Stories basically consist of images, videos and gifs. In them, you explain a short story to the user. 


You can use animations, text, and images to create a story. When you create and publish your story, that story is displayed to the user through Google Discover, Google Search, and Image Search. Friends, a platform, and hosting are required to create Google Webstories.


If you use WordPress, you will get a plugin called Google Web Stories to create it. However, if you do not have WordPress, you can create a story from the Google recommended website.

What is Google Web Stories -


Google Web Stories is a full-screen visual content that you can tap and swipe to view on the web. 


To view the content, you need to tap and swipe on the Web Stories. Google supports this so you can see the web story in Google Discover and Google Search. Web stories are mainly a mix of images, gifs, videos, and animated content.


Their main goal is to explain you the meaning of the content in fewer words. The main purpose is to make the web experience even better for the user.


How to create Google Web Stories -


Friends, we are going to use the Google recommended website to create a web story. The name of this website is Makestories.io.


Now I will explain you step by step how to create a web story.


1) Open your account -


Friends, first of all you need to open the website by typing make story on Google.


On the home page you get the option Sign in, click on it.


Now you need to log in with the help of Google.


To sign in, you need to enter your name, email address, password and create an account.


2) Go to General Settings -


Friends, after you create an account, you need to make some settings to optimize your web story well.


Once you have created your account, you will see General Settings option on the home page, you need to click on it.


SEO Settings -


Here you will get the first option of SEO. In seo, first you need to select person as the author type.


Select your name in author name, English in story language and your name in editor name and English in editor language and click save.


Branding - 


You will be given the next option Branding. Here you need to enter your brand name, logo and favicon.


Finally, you need to select the industry for your content and click save.


Typography - Under typography, you can change the color, font, font weight, and font size of your headlines as you want.


Analytics -


In Analytics, you can enter the code from Google Analytics or Facebook Pixels so you can track traffic to your Stories.


Social media -


Here you can save by entering your Facebook and Twitter ID.


Set up advertising -


Friends, if you have been approved by Google Adsense, you can earn money monetizing your story by entering your Publisher ID.


3) Create a new story -


Friends, after setting up, you need to click on Create New Story.


Now you will see a new page where you can create your story. To create a story, you will need some images or gifs. You can upload images from your computer through the media library. Otherwise, you will get the Media option on the left side, which you can use by searching for free images or videos through Unsplash.


Once you click on your image, that image will be added to page 1, which you will need to customize. To add text to your image, click on Text and enter text. To customize your text, you will be given the Design option on the right side of the page. From here you can change the color and size of your text. To add the next page, you will see the + option at the bottom.


To add a link to your image, you will get the CTA button option where you can add your affiliate and website link. On the right side, you will see the Animation option where you can add an animated effect to your video.


This way you can create your web story.


Publish Story -


Friends, once your story is created, you will see the Publish option at the top.


Click on it and select Publish as Web Story.


Now you will see 4 options. Once you have completed them, your story will be published.


Set up publish detail -


Here you need to enter the tile, name, logo, favicon and language of your story.
