How to deal with disapproved products in Google Merchant Center?
How to deal with unauthorized products in Google Merchant Center?
Every Google Shopping campaign owner has experienced the disappointing feeling of seeing a long list of unapproved products in the Google Merchants Center. In many cases, the cause of the problem is an incorrect product feed. However, sometimes everything seems to be perfect and still the rejection appears.
Below are 3 useful tips that can help you get these products approved again:
1. take a close look at the diagnostic report - probably a list of 50 rejected products looks scary at first glance, but if you take a closer look at the report, you will find that most of the products were rejected for the same reason or that the problem can be solved quickly and easily. It may also be that they are already approved by the time you find out the solution. You should know that even rejected products are always re-evaluated by Google. If the problem has been fixed in the meantime, the products will be automatically approved again!
2. if the magic does not work and you still see some rejected products in your campaign, try another easy way - manual approval. Did you know that Google gives us the option to request a manual review of a product? This is possible for certain items and basically means that a review is performed by a real person. This person checks if the items actually violate certain rules. Unfortunately, there are some products that are regularly rejected. In this case, the only option is to keep requesting manual approval. It is worth noting that Google has 7 days to perform the review.
3. Unfortunately, sometimes it happens that no solution works. Google does not approve the product manually and the cause of the problem is nowhere to be found. Try to work around the problem by changing some product features, such as the title or description. Check if splitting it with some characters or spaces helps.
