CLAT Exam 

The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is a nationwide consortium law school admissions test. It is the only entrance exam that provides admission to the 23 NLUs in India and other reputed private law schools. These universities offer admissions to various undergraduate and postgraduate law programs. The examination is conducted in 80 Indian cities in pen-paper mode. CLAT The application process for the year 2022 has started and students can fill the application form till March 31, 2022.

AILET

The All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) is conducted by NLU Delhi. Students who pass this exam get admission to the five-year BA LLB (Hons) course and other PG law programs. The college offers 110 BA LLB seats and 70 LLM seats. The NIRF 2021 report ranks NLU Delhi as the second best law school in India, attracting students from across the country to apply for AILET.

SLAT 

Symbiosis Law Admission Test (SLAT) is an entrance exam for law studies in India conducted every year by Symbiosis International College to provide admissions to UG law courses. The SLAT exam can open the gateway to Symbiosis Law School in Pune and other law centers in Noida, Hyderabad and Nagpur. All participating law schools offer about 1,000 seats, making the exam highly competitive. Students who pass the exam can take courses like BA LLB, BBA LLB, etc. The exam is conducted in offline mode; however, in 2021, the exam was held in online proctored mode due to COVID -19.


Subjects: Reading Comprehension, Analytical Reasoning, Legal Reasoning, Logical Reasoning and GK.

LSAT

The Law School Admission Council (LSAC) conducts the LSAT exam to provide admissions to law schools in India. Previously, Pearson VUE administered the LSAT exam in India on behalf of LSAC. However, since 2020, LSAC has contracted Discover Law to administer the exam. Admissions through LSAT India are offered for programs like BA LLB, BCom LLB, BBA LLB, LLM and other programs. The exam is conducted online in remote proctored mode twice a year in January and May-June.

MH CET Law

Maharashtra State Common Law Entrance Test (MH CET) is conducted for five-year integrated LLB and three-year LLB courses offered in Maharashtra state universities and law schools. In terms of the number of seats offered by law institutes participating in MH CET, this exam is the largest law entrance exam in India. More than 140 universities and law schools accept the results of MH CET law. This exam is computer-based and takes two hours to complete. 


Subjects: English, logical and analytical thinking, mathematical skills, general knowledge and current affairs.
